Dear Congregation Mount Sinai Family,

I hope that this letter finds you and your family well.  As we all know, these are challenging times. Many things that we take for granted have changed.  Rabbi Levenson has led over 170 consecutive CyberSinai noon study sessions and minyans on Zoom.  Please join us on CyberSinai as these opportunities for community at CMS continue.

As you can see by now, we will be celebrating the High Holidays mostly on Zoom with two short outdoor, physically distant, in-person sessions.

Unfortunately, many of our basic expenses have not abated.  Normally, we would be asking for pledges during our High Holiday appeal on Yom Kippur.  Since Yom Kippur is one of the virtual days, we will not be able to conduct our Yom Kippur appeal as we normally have.  We have created an opportunity for all to participate in a Virtual Yom Kippur Appeal.

Pledge categories are:
 Chaverim         $ 5,000
 Nedivim           $ 3,600
 Habonim          $ 1,500

Other typical donations are $1,000, or $500,
Or you can pledge any other amount.

Charitable giving is an important part of Judaism, and Congregation Mount Sinai depends on your generosity to support our programs and facilities as we strive to nurture our diverse community.

We depend on the commitment of community members, through donations and gifts of time, to keep our shul vital and functioning. Your tzedakah is an act of profound selflessness and helps us meet the needs of our growing community.

The Mount Sinai family is here to support you. Please support the Mount Sinai Family.

Wishing you a sweet, healthy, and peaceful year.
